藝術總監 楊宜真
美國西敏合唱音樂學院合唱指揮碩士。
2008年回國接任台中室內合唱團藝術總監，創作多元精緻藝術、為臺灣合唱作品發聲、參與國內外合唱比賽，榮獲多項冠軍金獎。 成立「中部合唱中心」，為臺灣合唱教育推廣主要推手；擔任「台中少年兒童合唱團」藝術總監，積極推廣兒童合唱；擔任上海Vocal Asia A Cappella教學設計講師，為人聲樂團教育扎根。因合唱教育領域的貢獻，2021年獲選為國立臺中教育大學傑出校友殊榮。 2020-2022年受聘指導臺中國家歌劇院NTT歌劇合唱團參與遇見巨人系列歌劇演出。常與國家交響樂團（NSO）、臺灣交響樂團(NTSO)合作，並參與多齣音樂劇製作與歌唱指導。2024年11月受邀至馬來西亞古晉合唱音樂節大師班講座。
現為台中室內合唱團藝術總監暨常任指揮、Asian Choral Association臺灣代表、臺灣合唱協會常務理事，並任教於國立清華大學音樂系。
I-Chen Yang earned a Master of Music in Choral Conducting with distinction from Westminster Choir College in USA. During her studied in Westminster Choir College, Yang was the assistant conductor of the Westminster Choir and had collaborated with the world’s leading orchestras, including: The New York Philharmonic, The Philadelphia Orchestra, The Spoleto Festival Orchestra, and The Lucerne Festival Orchestra, etc.
I-Chen is an active conductor, lecturer and adjudicator of choral music. She currently serves as the artistic director of the Taichung Chamber Choir in Taiwan. Her debut recording with Taichung Chamber Choir, Seven Chapters of Life, earned the Best Vocal Performance from 34th The Golden Melody Awards for Traditional Arts and Music, which described the Taichung Chamber Choir as “the gold standard of Taiwanese choral music.”
I-Chen co-founded Taichung Chorus Center in 2013. Taichung Chorus Center is now a thriving organization that serves choral music education courses, workshops, and master classes in the central of Taiwan. She now enthusiastically dedicates herself to the development of choral music education in remote areas in Taiwan, and devotes to innovative educational changes in the choral art.
From 2020 to 2022, She was hired to conduct the NTT Opera Chorus of National Taichung Theater which participated in opera performances of the Fall For Great Souls . She also collaborates with National Symphony Orchestra and National Taiwan Symphony Orchestra.
I-Chen is also the Asian Choral Association Country and Regional Representative, professor of National Tsing Hua University, and Executive Director of the Taiwan Choral Association.
